WHO
IS THE COURSE SUITABLE FOR :
This course is suitable
for Managers and/or Team Leaders who wish to review their current leadership
style, with a view to enhancing personal & team effectiveness, productivity, &
motivation. By understanding your preferred leadership style(s) you can also
appreciate the impact of your style upon those who work with and for you. Using
popular self-analysis techniques, participants will review their current
leadership style in order to determine personal strengths and weaknesses.
The course also explores common challenges when
leading others and encourages participants to share experiences and ideas that
have led to enhanced employee performances or motivation, such as
target/objective setting and constructive feedback.

METHOD
OF DELIVERY
The course will combine structured
plenary & group discussion & activities. Participants will be encouraged
to consider “real life” situations where they feel they would benefit from
adopting different leadership styles in order to enhance individual or team
performance. Popular motivation theories & ideas will be introduced to provide a
better understanding of “what makes people tick” in the workplace. Participants
then have an opportunity to share their own experiences & ideas to provide them
with some practical solutions & tips to take back with them to their own work
environments. |
